New Line, New Adventure, New Role In My Dream Job

Sooooo.. I've kept this kind of quiet.. You all know by now that I work for a shoe co, but what you didn't know is that for the last 5 months I have been developing a new brand for them. Yeah, my life kinda flipped upside down then sideways this year with so much going on! I am now building and designing much of the new Madeline Girl line. Crazy, right? I'm still beside myself at the opportunity, but it is a role I have dreamed of since I was a little girl. Truth.

Blurb in Footwear News Magazine 

This small blurb came out about the brand a few weeks back, but shortly after this ran in Footwear News (part of WWD - Women's Wear Daily), I was asked to give an interview for an upcoming spread in the magazine.  And it runs on Monday. 

Holy mother of shoe gods... I'm so nervous and excited at the same time to see it!  I am really a lot better with actual face-to-face interviews, but since I wasn't going to be in NY that was a little out of the question. So, phone interview it was.  I totally psyched myself out and if it turns out as horrific as the interview was then I may never play show and tell again.. LOL!  Can you tell I'm nervous?
